I love seeing a Star Wars playset repurposed for another toyline, it's so fun! The Ewok Village, Geonosis Arena, and Mustafar Lava playset all got the "repurpose" treatment for Robin Hood, GI Joe, and Indiana Jones respectively. This is so creative!

That is a really cool playset and for displaying it is awesome. If the manufacturers of the excellent Baron's Lair ever read my comment. Here is a minor suggestion have the portrait of the Baron with dagger slashes going across the painting and rename it the Major's Lair. To reflect a time in the Action Force story line.

I think Lee modified the final artwork to make it a little less "third reich". Those prototype banners look a lot like some evil from past times. Great set and smart use of his earlier molds/bucks. Great stuff as always!

I strongly suspect that the 'not a mouse droid sticker' is there simply because, like the playset itself, the tooling from the sticker cutter from the previous version was used. He had to cut something out in that size, and a the skull was an obvious option.
@PaleetoysLtd6 ай бұрын
Yep, that’s what I did. Cheaper to use the same tooling so I just added it as an extra.
@WyldstaarStudios6 ай бұрын
@@PaleetoysLtd Did you make the Imperial emblem part of the vac mold swappable, or did you have to replace that part of the original vac mold to get the Red Shadows skull?
@PaleetoysLtd6 ай бұрын
Yeah, it can be swapped out. Again saves on cost.

What a cool set. Such a brilliant way to display vintage Red Shadows!
@chrismayer39196 ай бұрын
So true this; yet Red Shadows are the only Cabal I know with TWO logo; a skull/crossbones and twin ‘K’ back-to-back. (I wonder which one is more correct?)
@chrismayer39196 ай бұрын
I agree; and all you really have to do is replace the card backdrop and floor colour to completely change the scene! I’m thinking a grey flooring with ACTION FORCE motif for the next one ( or maybe Lee will surprise us with a recreated reissue of the original ‘sphere’ headquarters; wouldn’t THAT be Prime!)

Cool set, and I love to support a small business. However, at €100 its too expensive for what it is. €50 maybe (yes, I understand scale does relate to cost). Side note, the Muton visors look strange / the colour is off. Are the repro ?
