Had to think about it for a sec', maybe they're stalling to introduce a 3.0 Goku body for the debut of Future Gohan. Highly anticipated figure, most requested upgrade ⚖️ Especially for customization if he has the Piccolo gimmick and swapping his arm.

I have to agree about the new molds thing. I tend to be of the same mindset that I’d like for exclusives to be repaints and upgrades (to paint and faceplates and etc) of existing figures. That said, I reaaally don’t understand all the comments online saying that Tamashii is finally giving us a Saiyan Saga Goku. No. No they aren’t lol. This isn’t it guys. He’s got the Kame gi here and it’s barely in the show. This specific look anyway. The King Kai symbol gi is what he wears when he arrives back on earth to fight Vegeta.

People that want new sculpts as Exclusives must be new to collecting or something. Cause I have no idea why anyone would want something to happen again like U.i Sign Goku being event exclusive or something even worse like Vegeto Blue 2.0 and Zamasu that were literally region locked due to being P-Bandai AMERICA Exclusives. That still is by far the WORST thing Bandai has ever done IMO. Especially when considering Trunks and Goku Blue were general release and Goku Black and fused Zamasu were regular web exclusives

Yea new figures should never be sdcc, could they have made better choices for the sdec yes! Truth be told i will only get goku since we dont have one in this gi i think? More excited to see what they announce I hope its similar to a few years ago were they shows off a bunch of prototypes 😅

100% no way should new characters or new 3.0 Goku be an EE. That said, I think what some people are trying to express is simply 2.0 fatigue. Not that 2.0 is bad, just that it has an expiration date and won't be cohesive or compatible when 3.0 refresh rolls around. Personally I want Gokus that match and can headswap, so while I want hat Gohan, nimbus, and turtle gi Goku with windy hair, I'd rather they waited until 3.0 to make highly desired opening title Gokus like this and instead focus on pbandai reissues - Cooler, Ginyu force, etc. Although, when was the last batch of EEs that didn't have some kind of Goku reuse?

The rant at the end of this video is specifically for exactly what u just said. Why would u want a 3.0 Goku as an EE. and clearly they don’t hate the idea of a 3.0 Goku when just last year we got the lssj goku, and prior we got ssj4 goku. Are they running the 2.0 Goku into the ground? Absolutely, they’re intro figs. They get ppl into the line. They’ll get to making a 3.0 base Goku in his gi at some point. The issue is ppl don’t possess any patience in this hobby.
