Thank you for walking through this new search and filtering feature! It's so helpful to see how we can now easily integrate filters like product search, category selection, and price ranges into our designs. Your demo really clarifies how to set everything up, although I did notice a few minor quirks, like the reset button not clearing all filters properly. I'm eagerly awaiting the final release and your comprehensive tutorial. It seems like these enhancements will greatly improve customization options for WooCommerce sites, and I'm grateful for the insights you've provided!

I was waiting for your video. I watched the main video but I knew your videos will be the ultimate! Thanks a lot.

Great overview mate... This really is effffffing cool, and quite comprehensive for the pre-release. I am confident this is going to be a great native feature that most other builders will be struggling to compete with.

This is a really nice addition to Bricks. I look forward to seeing it mature into a robust element.

I sadly got myself grid builder for exactly this feature 3 months ago. Well, I'm glad I don't have to renew it now this is being released.

I don't think you need to throw away your WPGB license just yet. It will still do some things that this native function won't and you'll be happy you have it in your toolbox then. :)

Bricks should probably display a loading animation when a filter is applied

A good idea would be to make a widget that displays all available categories and subcategories and display products in AJAX. So far I've been doing it in code block. The same with Mega Menu. Maybe there is already such a solution for bricks?
@spindreams8 ай бұрын
Not sure there would be any need for an OR option between elements, if you adjust an item you would want to filter by it, OR would be internal to an element so for example ticking different categories so this cat OR that cat

I agree. I think you describe the expected user experience.

Hi Paul, and thank you. Little unrelated question but, What is your framework for this video?
@WPTuts8 ай бұрын
I use Core Framework with Bricks. :)
@hosseinkhanmohammadi47708 ай бұрын
@@WPTuts Yes I knew about them, but I see in 4:16 a UI that is not related to CF. I Guess you have Change to other framework. But I guess that UI is for AdvancedThemer. Anyway Thank you Paul.
@WPTuts8 ай бұрын
@@hosseinkhanmohammadi4770 yeah, thsat's right. That is the Advanced Themere global styles picker - I tend to end defaulting to that over the native CF version.

I was very excited about Search Filter. But unfortunately, it doesn't work well with Vietnamese...

Total results isnt here. Using regular doesnt work and keeps showing 0. If we use default results, doesnt respond to these filters you added.

@@SamsonAdeyemi bricks is certainly all the hype right now, most wordpress creators have a lot of bricks content and very extensive trainings like Kevin Geary. I think you should leave Elementor because their code output is horrendous which leads to bad loading times and other problems when you try to get into the nitty gritty

@@thereal_JMT_ I'd just like to say that I've covered Bricks since it was released around 3 years ago - so, it's not 'all the hype' from me. ;)
