Fun thing. You can shoot the body of the harpoon to cause it to retract. Good way to drop pirates into the sea.

This has always been true, sword swipes and blunder bomb damage also gets the harpoons to release as well.

Since the double barrel pistol leaves them one shot to anything, outside of throwing knife light attacks, im going to run double pistols for the faster reload and good hipfire accuracy follow ups

This is what I've been planning to do since they announced the double barrel, even if it didn't turn out to be a good combo lol but it looks like its gonna be pretty devastating

The double barrel is utterly pointless, it does as much damage as a sniper with the double the shots needed, sduobling the chances of missing, alot lesss ammo to damage ratio aswell (lowest of any gun), takes longer to reload, is jenkier to ads, and works less good in either slot (its a worse replacemnt for the pistol due to its long reload and poor damage, with higher required risk, and worse for both blunder and sniper as it does basically no damage compared to the aim needed and reload time required).

does the throwing knife have a backstab multiplier? it feels like incredibly effective when using the heavy stab against ashen lords in their stunned form (today I completely skipped phase 3 just by backstabbing them)

Knife stuns so it’s a little OP but the DB pistol is bad

@@joelennox6666 the knife is horrible, it stops u from running thats it, the time it takes to throw a knife and switch to another weapon or throw another is very bad. blunder sniper pistol and sword are better alternatives for all slots compared to the new weapons. And spamming a pistol twice is still the best option as it is the least risk, easy to pull of, almost the fasted way to kill anything, and has lots of range.

Hey man, just tested it. The fortress ghosts die from one shot so it’s better than pistol on kill speed 👍

It's an update for everyone, tbh All the new stuff has uses for multiple scenarios, not just pvp

@@decepticonsoundwave297 sure but things like scattershot, skele bomb, and windhord are only going to be in supply for people who play for at least a few hours per session. Unless you can buy them supply style. I imagine they will mostly be horded by streamers looking to abuse casuals for clips. Not to mention the harpoon boarding also reinforcing the boarding meta.

@@noahchristian1354 yes? If it’s a light wind that doesn’t extinguish it right away, technically any fire will spread faster with wind.. so I don’t get your argument? Especially when you’re talking about wooden boats that once the wood catches you better believe it’ll spread faster with wind. You ever start a campfire before? They start much better if you fan them or blow on them once they start to catch.

It is per player, so two players can spawn six. As for the rowboat, i believe it's speed of a sloop half sails down
