Karen Wells I love this song from rare groove parties I used to go to in the 90s (when I was in my 20s). Not sure when the song originally came out though but if the lead singer was the only one to sing on their hits, it could be because companies wouldn't consider her successful on her own so they got some 'accessories' to make her more commercial?!?! Just a thought.

I personally love Vanity's voice. It might not the most technically great but she had SO much vibe! Her voice radiates sex and charisma. Check out the Vanity 6 version of Sex Shooter compared to the Appolonia 6 version. Vanity's vocal is so visceral and hot AF. Not that it's hard to beat Appolonia's voice, but still lol. Oh and Brenda from Vanity 6 has serious vocal chops. Check Blue Limousine from the Appolonia 6 album for the proof. Girl is bad 🔥
