Since I have very little things to do, I'm going to calculate how much health is needed to tank everything in Nuclear Mode. Notes to keep in mind: - Shield Health does not count. This includes Shield Health gained from the Mutation modifier. - Enemies summoned from Mysteries, 'Summoner' enemies, or Bosses will not count. - Calculations only account for base health. - The Abomination's Two Hearts & Two Brains ability, wherein it revives with half its health, will not count. Alright, with those out of the way, let's begin... Since nearly every enemy is replaced by a nuclear version, stronger and usually faster, we must undergo a complete makeover of the base calculations, which resulted in ~684,000 health needed as carried out by Elite (and from where this is inspired). 70x Mutated = 980 42x Mutated Speedy = 756 78x Hazmat = 3,120 19x Mutated Boss = 9,500 42x Shadows = 820 140x Mystery = 2,800 8x Necromancer (Nuclear) = 6,400 112x Toxic = 22,400 66x Amalgamation = 528,000 8x Shadow Boss = 6,000 205x Circuit (replaces Glitch & Error) = 369,000 71x Rusher = 99,400 6x Abomination = 120,000 79x Mystery Boss = 11,250 5x Slime = 40,000 5x Warden = 200,000 4x Necromancer Boss (Nuclear) = 240,000 12x Super Toxic = 144,000 4x Nuclear Guardian = 320,000 1x Nuclear Monster = 1,500,000 Now with it all out of the way, this results in a colossal 3,624,426. Roughly a third comes just from the Nuclear Monster, the Final Boss. This is shared with the previous Polluted Wastelands/Nuclear Mode, where you needed roughly 1.44 million health and roughly a third came from the Nuclear Fallen King. It is also shared with Hardcore Mode, where you need roughly 3.6 million health and about a third comes from the Void Reaver. Trivia: Upon release, the Nuclear Fallen King had 3 times the health of the Fallen King. - This is somewhat true for the Fallen Swordmaster having over three times the health of the Swordmaster. - It is even more true for the Nuclear Monster, as it has three times the health of the Nuclear Fallen King after 1 May 2020. The Nuclear Monster's theme is a remix of the Nuclear Fallen King's theme. - The Nuclear Fallen King's theme is a remix of an old "You Lost!" theme. Polluted Wasteland II is the only map to have multiple ambient soundtracks. - "Waste Water" plays during Waves 1-22, whilst "They're Mutated!" plays between Waves 22-39 because of the Amalgamation's debut on that wave. Polluted Wasteland II is currently the only non-event map that changes its enemies. - The first Polluted Wastelands did such, but was removed 8 May 2021.

Question: Why doesn’t shield health count? I can understand the other ones because if the Abomination gets into the base, I don’t think it’s ability activates since it technically doesn’t die (and enemies that spawn more enemies on their own is just RNG). But shield health _does_ count for depleting base health since in a recent update, they made shield health deplete base health if an enemy with it gets to the base. Other than making the calculation easier, I don’t see why it doesn’t count.

Although I understand that a mistake was made, I still need to point it out because the information that was mistaken is very important. The Amalgamation debuts on wave 22, although here there appears to be a typo because it says Amalgamation debuts on 24. This is one of the hardest obstacles in PW2 and for someone who isn’t aware that Amalgamation comes on wave 22 this miss-information can end people’s matches.

shadows do not have any defense. I have not seen shadows with 30%. Along with that, in Lost Souls, shadows gain 20% defense, which means normal variants have no defense. Also there are some other inaccuracies including amalgamation spawning on wave 24, and rushers replacing glitches and errors while also appearing on wave 26. Understandably, some enemies are outdated, including mysteries (now replaced by breakers), and some other enemies including necromancer, warden, and necromancer boss which have less HP now.
