Just thought I'd tell you. These are the best instructional videos I believe I have ever seen. Extremely OCD dude 😂 Your attention to detail is absolutely fantastic. Thank you.

Good advice thanks. I have a old Honda 90 that was my Fathers and although i have had many Honda motorcycles Myself ive. Wondered about the new Chinese clone motors In comparison this video confirmed many of my own opinions and conclusions on the two i am a Honda enthusiast. Owning products of theirs from the motorcycles, lawn mowers, autos, and of course the motorcycles As i mentioned previously the early 1960s Honda 90 does. Have a broken internal part on the kick starter. That i will replace with a genuine Honda part. To retain the original motor on the bike since it was my Dads. I feel the nostalgia. Bond. To it is worthy ! Perhaps if it was just a old bike i wanted to get running for fun i might. Had gone the Chinese clone ? But i always suspected the gear boxes. Weren’t that. Great as ive seen them fail in some of the quads and similar products , it makes sense. That due to the high production and low cost the manufacturers cut any cost they can in materials or machining

Hi, thanks for the videos, really useful! I’m looking for advice if possible... got a c90 cub 1994 and I want to lower the 3rd gear to be closer to 2nd so it’s better on the track for enduro racing. Is there a OE Honda set of gears that will swap for the 23/22 that’s in? I can’t seem to find correct cogs from other engines and hope that you have come across Honda gears from other related engines that could do the trick? I’m assuming that 24/21 or 25/20 ratio gears would be ok. Appreciate any advice or recommendations you could make please?

Got a question hope you can help!! Had c50 3 speed needle bearings and swapped to 4 speed c100 transmission long time ago. Now got a weird knocking sound. Have changed crankshaft big end and bearings, also changed clutch basket but the weird sound still is there what could it be?I have seen that the washer between the needle bearing and gear axle is very thin and the gear primery driven has a little free play. I could sent you a video to hear it. Thanks in advance..

Hi all just a question I have a manual engine with a starter anyway the starter has failed and I've ripped all the electric out so can't be bothered to fix it any way the left side of the pitbike engine case has a starter mount there and it is blocking the carburettor air filter from going on I was thinking could I get a left side of a pitbike engine and put it on with kick start flywheel and stator plate so the starter mount won't be there in asking as I can't be asked to buy another new engine as this engine is in good condition

So crazy question: Do you know anything about combining these kinds of engines into multicylinder engines? I.e., flat twin, v-twin, inline twin, etc. I live somewhere that the 100cc variant is so common that they can be found used and rebuilt for extremely paultry sums, but larger engines are quite pricey.

I am by no means an expert on custom fabrication on that level, however if that interests you, check out Allen Millyard and his "SS100" and 180 engines.

So please clarify for me regarding my ability to keep my stock case. I have a 1981 Honda CT70: 1. Will I be able to use my stock case? 2. If so, what bike model and year do you suggest I use as a basis for my model? 3. Would I buy these gears from my local Honda dealer or online somewhere? Please advise.... I've had mine since it was new 38 years ago!
@steve59125 жыл бұрын
Dont tear it apart unless you have to. I'm just curious in 38 years have you ever rebuilt the top end?
@bewilderment92682 жыл бұрын
Absolutely HONDA for me. My CT90 is 48yr old and usually starts on the 2nd kick and has never been rebuilt.
