But if you count the various takes on them, like The 3same Puppet or 6 swaphaving at least 5 takes by different people, it would be way more. Also there are some AUs like "The 24same Puppet" (48swap) which exist but which have no predecessor.

Alright we have 5 "mainline" puppets up to Kriss P, then it splits to 2 lines, the "gamerline" with maxon and the "softline" with spamty. The most widely accepted iterations of the puppets in each respective lines are, starting with the softline, krisp, spamm tychon, krasz monde, and fahl kner. On the gamerline, its kreddy, maxx ie, and now e kred. Adding them all up we have 14. And thats not even counting other puppets that split off from these lines like big k, krip h, or bread the baker and their continuations. We're also not mentioning the otherline or the countless spinoffs like sigma pennywise or spamtina. So in short, a lot. Too much? Maybe, but im all in for it

There's an au called deltarune the same puppet, where everyone re-swaps with each other, making spamton become spamton again. Then after that au, someone made an au called deltarune the same other puppet, where spamton swaps with kris again. Repeat the process a bunch of times and you eventually get to here.

This is kris in the spamton in the kris in the spamton in the kris in the spamton in the kris in the spamton in the kris in the spamton role, aka 9swap i believe (OK to answer seriously someone made an au of the other puppet where they swapped kris and spamton again making the same puppet then it became a whole thing to keep applying the other puppet swaps over and over again and people ended up making several takes on 6swap so there's like a ton of different branches of this all with songs made for them, for this one specifically each distinct voice is the voicelines from a previous swap in their line)
