Gillian truly is a modern master of psychological thrillers. The film GONE GIRL is one of my favorites. DARK PLACES was so twisted and creepy.

I was not really a fan of the movie. I thought it missed most of the most interesting aspects of the book. Then again I read gone girl before the movie came out and watched the movie afterwards. The movie was a well directed summation of the book but missed much of the interesting aspects of book and how each person in the marriage thinks. I think dark places was crazy good and sharp objects has been a pretty good read thus far.

I literally screamed out loud and threw the book for gone girl. So good. But dark places is my all time favorite book/thriller. So so gritty and yet poetic. So good. Gillian Flynn is 🔥🔥🔥

Hey, same here…Gone girl is great, The sharp objects is awesome, but Dark places is number one to me! The characters are so real and the way Gillian wrote this book is just magical. Sucks you in and won’t let you go.

Yes I agree, Gone Girl CHANGED the game for me! My all time favorite book and hooked me on thrillers. Sharp Objects was a huge fail for me, but The Grown Up sounds good. I will have to check out. Love these videos!

That's my dilemma! I loved Gone Girl on screen but I'm not sure I could enjoy the book as much having seen the movie first. But I just finished reading Sharp Objects, and am following up with the miniseries now 😊

I have read one Gilliyan Flynn book and watched an adaptation. Read The grown up and fking loved that book..that is my THE FAVOURITE THRILLER and watched Gone girl and hated it to the core😂 I have other two books to go through.
