Not bad at all! I must say 4501 is definitely my favorite as I live only an our away from the TVRM. I'd love to see these steamers redone with custom rods someday, would really make them stand out IMHO.

Thank you very much! I also live near the TVRM, which is a reason why 4501 is my favorite locomotive. I have been hoping to get some money for Trained Brick’s custom side rods. I might be able to get some for Christmas though

How did you make the Lego 4501 steam locomotive

I built it over the course of a week, and I mostly looked up pictures of the parts that I wanted to build. I started from the frame and then I began to build the boiler and cab

I honestly don’t want to make a tutorial on it since It would be very hard to put it back together and it’s my own personal model. I do have a tutorial on my 0-4-0 though

My model of 1702 has been torn apart for over a year now I believe. I will definitely rebuild 1702 in the near future though

Thank you! Most of my bricks are from my personal connection but some of them I ordered off of the websites Big Ben Bricks (a great place to buy train wheels) and Bricklink (they sell almost every lego brick)
