Hi Sir. Thankyou very much for this amazing video. Very well explained, great job! However, I was wondering if you could make a video re. examples of the Quadratic formula where you do the working out to show the answer. I have noticed that no tutors explain as well as you do. And, rectangle word problems with area and quadratic equations is something I'm struggling with at the moment. For example, A rectangular field is 15m longer than it is wide. The area of the field is 800m². Work out the length of the field. Give your answer to 1 decimal place. If it is possible, would you be able to help me out with this? Thank you Sir for your time. 🙂🙏👍
@TheGCSEMathsTutor2 жыл бұрын
Aaaah yes forming and solving quadratic equations would certainly be a good one! I’ve just added it to the list for you 😁 what do you mean by the first one? Where you show the working out, do you mean doing the quadratic formula without a calculator and leaving it in surd form? 😁🙏🏼
@dusk33152 жыл бұрын
@@TheGCSEMathsTutor Thanks for your reply Sir and thank you very much for considering this. I really lovc these videos. You explain the steps so well, I was just wondering about the answers (timestamp 6:00), where the question asks for 3 significant figures, as opposed to rounded. So, the solutions would be 4.60 and 1.58. Or maybe I am wrong.
