Enjoy watching Shohei play baseball. He makes it fun and enjoyable. When Ichiro Suzuki left kind of stop paying attention to baseball. Then started again when Shohei started going off and now paying more attention. Yes, Shohei is the face of Major League Baseball, even with English not being his native tongue. His skills and love for the game transcends that. We non-Japanese speakers can still enjoy him as a player and still listen through translators and get the meaning of how the feelings playing the game. I cannot wait for him to get back to pitching. MVP and Cy Young award would be crazy. Hoping for more amazing years from him.

IMO, His performance started to decline when Dave Roberts told him to stop swinging a lower zone but only the higher. That's cuz it's easier to swing and miss at higher fastballs than the lower. Hes lately been doing better since activilly swings at the lower ignoring his mannager.
