Some stages Like Windmill Isle act 1 or Srid Sands act 1 require you to be at the stage as fast as inhumanly possible, or do that while keeping the mass majority of your rings like Savannah Citadel act 1. It's a total mess as to what requirement is for what stage. And don't even get me started on the dlc levels.

I remember me getting that dreaded *"E"* rank for the very first time years ago, and hearing that abysmal version of the victory theme, had me (and later some family) crying tears lmao. I wasn't even mad I'd messed up so badly and got such a low rank. The level I failed being Arid Sands.
