7:50: Here’s some other fun things you missed for 88☆彡! (As it’s one of my favorite songs) All beat map difficulties have a full combo number ending with 88. It not only references the title of the song, but it is also the number of keys on a piano! More so, the full original song is very short-only lasting around 2 minutes because the song has *88 measures*. - Even better is that in the pro Sekai mv, Tsukasa smiles during his part of the song’s bridge at 1:28 which is *88 seconds into the song*. - Even, even better is that Saki, Tsukasa, and Touya also share the same 88 motif. Saki and Tsukasa’s birthdays are 8 days apart, and Tsukasa and Touya’s birthdays are also 8 days apart. Put them together->88. To represent all the three of their connection to piano. Tldr: Prosekai and all who work/collaborate with them are geniuses

Another 88 reference that JP folks noticed was the fact that in the master chart, for some reason, there's 87 points in the hold notes, some theorized why there's one missing, that one is more like a stretch but its fun how almost everything in the song is 88 (number) related

Thank you very much to everyone who informed me of references I didn't include, this video would be half a long without people telling me of things I missed~ Also, I had completely forgotten to include this in the video, but I do not have the mental fortitude to make a part 4 so I'll put anything that I still missed in this comment (feel free to tell me anything that you notice!): 1. In Servant of Evil and Daughter of Evil *(EXPERT),* the combo is 609 on both, which you're capable of turning upside down and it will look completely indistinguishable from the before. 2. In Melty Land Nightmare, there is a reference during the lyric "This is a place without a single soul (or two)"/"koko wa hitori mo futari mo nai basho" on both EXPERT and MASTER. On *EXPERT,* you hit 1 hold note on "hitori" (which means "1 person") and then it adds in a second hold note on "futari" (which means 2 people), while on *MASTER,* a single flick appears on "hitori" while 2 flicks appear on "futari". 3. Dreamin Chuchu has a single note on screen when it says "The only one in the world". 4. In the chorus of IDSMILE, when it says "obstructed by faint expectations", the notes are wide and take up the entire lane. 5. In Heart Rate#0822, there is a lyric that mentions "synchronizing sounds" where the holds synchronize. 6. I can't believe I'm gonna have to include the exact same ONESELF sdvr section again in the part 4 that'll come out in a month or 2 because I didn't notice the comment that mentioned that the holds look a subway station map, which makes a lot of sense💀 7. In Copycat (EN Server Exclusive), whenever the lyrics say "Copy", there are always 2 hold notes. 8. In Positive Dance Time, there are star shaped notes after the "The World Shines" lyrics. 9. In Bug, the hold notes look glitched, as if the chart is bugged. 10. Isn't a chart reference per say, but they changed the ending text in Copycat from "Thank you for watching" to "Thank you for playing".

There's a reference in Melty Land Nightmare that I've always liked that I don't think has been in any of these videos! At the part where it says "koko wa hitori mo futari mo nai basho" (This is a place without a single soul (or two)), the expert chart starts one hold note at "hitori" and adds another at "futari," and in the master chart there is a normal note and a flick note together at "hitori" and two flick notes at "futari." I'm not entirely sure if it's a reference on master, since the pattern repeats itself a bit later.

one of my favorite chart references is in the master chart of blessing, where the note types match up to the vocaloid who's singing for most solo lines, especially in the bridge. hold notes for miku (green), critical notes for rin and len (yellow), flicks for luka (pink), and tap notes for kaito (blue). unfortunately there's no red notes so meiko doesn't get special notes :( it's still really cool though!

I noticed that in the master lvl of Hitorinbo Envy that in most of the doubled notes (not exactly sure what it's called), one note is small and the other is bigger than it. The small one represents the child and the bigger one represents her parents. With the notes being separated from each other I think is supposed to represent how in the song the child's parents don't give her much attention which causes her to feel lonely and isolated.

The double notes you see are called a "jump" If you play with one hand then EK might be calling to compete XD Jokes aside, the term came from DDR and PIU players, myself included, who play with their legs. Every time such note shows up in quick succession, they have to "jump" to hit them. You should see something like Nakakapagpabagabag, yes that is the song's name, on PIU. Lv18 iirc is when the jumping starts XD

fact about matryoshka : people still don't know what 524 is supposed to mean, but some people theorized that since there is no 1 (i), and no 3 (mi), there is no meaning (imi) to it. oh, and something i still love about Jackpot Sad Girl is how after the second chorus, the singer counts up to 8, and then starts dissing Hachi because of the message Sand Planet conveyed (the vocaloid fandom slowly dying and becoming barren, like a wasteland or a desert) like sega asked "k can you make a song for mafuyu", and syudou just went "sure, if you allow me to diss hachi"

i looked through all three parts to find this and it wasn’t in any of them (I EVEN LOOKED THROUGH THE COMMENTS AND NOBODY MENTIONED THIS SONG 😭) but in the song “ YY “ every time the lyrics come in the sliders say “ YY “ and on expert/master it says “A B” like the lyrics at the start. additionally, on master, it says “ 1 2 3” like the lyrics “ichi ni san” representing the counting.
