Interesting how some parts of the cutscenes are different and more refined now than it was back then. For example, in this video when Snape and fligwick finds Merula threatening everyone outside, they walk in the frame as she speaks. However, when I was playing it, Snape was watching from afar until Merula finishes her sentence, THEN he intervenes, later followed by flitwick.

THANK you so much for sharing this! I have played HP hogwarty mystery for so long (stuck in year 5) but in the meantime I did not find the time and was overloaded with so many side quests (not to mention the whole gameplay with the energy system) that I had to stop playing for good. Still the story did not pass by me and I am so curious whats coming up, so again thank you for your effort and give me the possibility to see the whole story so far without playing it!

You're very welcome! I'm retired so I have time on my hands. I think it's better for 1 person to play the game and share the story. That way, for those who are young and have very busy lives, they still get to see the story if they are interested. Thanks again.

I remember playing this game in 2019 with my sister. We were in year 3! but all the progress is gone now..im restarting it! it brings so much memories. i loved this game and the annoying thing was that the energy would take time

I didn't get the Hagrid's Birthday Party quest... Is it possible that the quest is only available during a specific time? Particularly December? (I searched and Hagrid's birthday is apparently on 6 December)

I think Hagrid's Birthday Party quest is only available during a specific month. I think mine became available in the summer sometime. Sorry, can't be of more help than that.

I haven't been able to unlock the Episkey Spell, the Fire-Breathing Potion, or the Forgetfulness Potion at all. And Jam City's devs actually said they removed those three items from the game, which is so not cool.

@@TiggerTips one guide I was able to find shows some inaccuracies to the modern game. At times I just have to go blind and have certain expectations but I find out that I am overachieving for certain things.

I don't know which Hogwarts game I prefer. Hogwarts Legacy seems visually a LOT better, but Hogwarts Mystery has some of the original movie actors reprising their roles.
