An interesting attention to detail I've noticed during my time playing is that which tribe the Overlord is in has other effects as well. For example, having an Outlaw or Dark Overlord increases the chances of your captains turning on you, while a Warmonger Overlord will actually decrease it.

Oh yeah I read about that. And with feral, they say that more beasts will roam the area. Haven't tested it though.

Warmonger orcs also recruit more grunts in their region. Slaughter has more bait and outlaw orcs can sometimes place war banners without the need of a commander.

Mystic tribe members can also have the necromancer trait where they can revive grunts and captains if there any dead nearby and there’s a chance that they can revive themselves too

Great addition for the army if they dont have Iron Will or Unbreakable

I LOVE how amazing the community is for this game! I 100% the goty edition of the first one (ended the playthru and shelved it about a year ago) and now that im finally getting into the second one the reception and sheer amount of helpful content ive found is astounding!

Outlaw Tribe Overlords also make banner carrier orcs spawn in the region in small patrols, which is really cool (and annoying). Mystic was always my favourite but since buying the DLC, Outlaw are really trying to change my mind, I love their vibe of resistance.

mystic is my favorite mainly cause i think the animation on the blade attack they do is one of the cooler ones in the game

The worst class and tribe and bonus are Commanders who are tanks with shields. Absolutely disgusting to fight against. I've done it 5 times, and each time I've despised it. Really, any defender tank will do, but commanders are the worst as tanks.

Yea, add arrow proof and you'll have a hard time getting through their shield. Plus the fact they can summon grunts make it more annoying.

I’ll admit they make great followers also try to use attacks that freeze so you can get a flurry in charging up your might and knocking down the orc for a ground execution
