Honestly, the orange phone guys confrontation hits the hardest because he is still trying to make things better, you can actually SEE him start to lose hope in you, and that goddamn final line is the perfect way to end it. if anyone actually tries to make a voice acted play through of this game, this will be one of the biggest highlights.

Actually, lucky for you, this particular scene is voice acted in-game by Roger if you 1) Talk to Rebecca about Harry on the first day, and then 2) Do Roger's backstory. And the voiced scene is as neat as you'd imagine

They swear because those two have faulty programming in their phone heads. Phone guys come from employees who died in a springlock faliure. The company decided they wanted to make phone guys be the "Perfect Manager" so they coded their brains to act very formal. And the company constantly wipes their memories from their past lives so phone guys can't go crazy from that knowledge. Peter/Bakersfield Phone Guy and Jake/Purple phone head have faulty memories. In dsaf 2 in the Legacy route Peter is seen saying "I want to see Caroline again .." meaning he remembers his past life somewhat. In DSAF 3 in the office, there's a tape where he goes crazy, talking about wanting to see his son again, leaving the site and becoming "A Rouge Phone Guy". Hope that clears some stuff up lol

No. Unfortunately if you're doing the evil route you cannot go through the full conversation about his family. After he explains about Jason, you can either ridicule him or end the conversation. Unless there's a secret thing I missed.
