Gen 1 has a special place in my heart. Gen 2 brings back memories, hitting me right in the nostalgia as Pokemon Silver is the first Pokemon game I’ve ever played.Gen 3 makes me happy and gives me that adventurous vibe.Gen 4 is my favourite of all the bike themes. Gen 5 is fantastic, I love how relaxing it is and the happy upbeat vibes it gives me. Gen 6 is freaking amazing, it’s so close to being my favourite. Gen 7 sounds hella fun and silly but not as memorable as the others.

1. Sinnoh : It sounds so great. I really like the uses of the triangle instrument, it sounds like a bike bell. The music also fits for nighttime. 2. Kalos : i really like this one. It makes me feel energized, i really like the energy in this music. 3. Unova : i like how this musics has some happy-feelings. I like the drums at the beginning. 4. Johto : It is just a remix of Goldenrod City but it's good. This music makes me think of some kids riding a bike together. 5. Hoenn : It's kinda similar to the Kanto version, but i like this one better. 6. Kanto : It good, but there isn't much feelings. 7. Alola : it's actually good but it's not really my taste. It's also a music of "we don't have bikes here".

The Gen 4 Johto theme sounds more orchestral, and I like that about it, but the gen 2 one sounds more fast-paced, more clumsy, more unstable, and more nostalgic, and there's that little bit that the gen 4 one doesn't have, and for for those reasons, I prefer the gen 2 bike theme. There's more of a pace to it and you actually sound like you're on a bike. Every note is clearly defined, adding to the sense of a fast bike. I love the airy feel of the gen 6 Hoenn bike theme and I also love the orchestrated themes of ORAS, the gen 4 one sounds nice, but generic, the gen 1 one sounds forgettable, the gen 5 one is great, but sounds more like an opening theme to an emotional anime, and the gen 6 one sounds really misplaced. I know some people like it a lot, but it just sounds really misplaced. I don't know if it sounds good or not. It might not even be nice, because it sounds so forced. The gen 7 one, however, is great and really captures the rural feel of a ranch.

I didn't really play the Gen 1 games other than devouring Stadium in the Nintendo 64, so I just recognise it for being iconic and all; Gen 2's bike theme is just so catchy and innocent and reminds me of the good times of playing Crystal for the first time (and then SoulSivler later the years)... ... but boy, when the Gen 3 one came, that's when the tears started rolling.

7. Hoenn - It's a little too light and waltz-y sounding and doesn't have a lot of adventuring energy to me. 6. Kanto - Same as Hoenn, but it's a little more pretty, so... 5. Alola - This song is super fun and silly, and I love that. It's just not as wonder and awe-inspiring, so it loses that sense of grandeur, and isn't very "adventurous" either. Not particularly memorable, and not really a bike theme, but fun nevertheless. 4. Johto - Personal bias as HG/SS was my first Pokemon game, but this one hits me right in the nostalgia. It's very simple and short in comparison to all the other themes, but I relish in that. It makes me the happiest out of all the bike themes. Easily the most memorable as well. 3. Kalos - This one makes you wanna sing lyrics to it! It share's Johto's simplicity, but adds a sick guitar and a lot more energy from the beginning with that lead up with violins. 2. Unova - This one has a constant upbeat tempo and energy. I love that it starts out with the drums and claps, which is very different from all the other themes. It's very airy with the flute and accents, I could listen to it for hours! 1. Sinnoh - Uuuugh, so good. It hooks you in within the first two seconds with that ominous augmented chord and rapid xylophone, like "ooh what's this? what's gonna happen?". Then it resolves into this constant violin in the background and the kick and timpani drums come in... The different little flairs and accents with different instruments in each measure is just so fascinating, it gives the impression that there is life and there are Pokemon all around you, the joy and wonder just seeing them gives you is ever present. The hi-hat and snare section is a little more kind and adds more upbeat energy, but then it immediately goes back into the glorious augmented chord only to start over again. I could talk about this one for days. But that's my list!

Gen 6 sound so modernly pleasing, though gen 1 has a special place in my heart. I still remember bits from gen 2 and 3 but others feel deaf through my ears cause from that point on being able to run made the bike mechanism feel redundant.
