@@izzymahiem1940 The picture thing I honestly think it is just one of the ghost pokemon messing around as well as other weird things you see in the other games as Ghost Pokemon are usually known to be mysterious bunch as they can often be seen doing things that most people would find frightenin, but really is just the nature of The Ghost Pokemon. The playroom in Unova looks just like the same place Ghastly, Haunter, and Gengar took Ash to play with him in. There is also a theory that all these songs are sung by ghost pokemon especially Mismagius, if you just picture the ghost pokemon singing all these tunes it ends up being more beautiful.

There's just something about Lavender town. Especially the gameboy 8-bit version. The others, while creepy in their own right, almost feel like they're trying too hard. Lavender Town just has a completely different feel to it. Melancholy and soothing, yet at the same time unsettling.

Creepiest7) Kalos - Sounds too childish to be fully creepy. Plus the haunted house was a massive letdown.6) Johto - Not particularly creepy. The region didn't really have a creepy place anyway.5) Hoenn - Again, not all that creepy, although the drought theme definitely deserves to be up here instead.4) Kanto - Okay, Lavender Town would be scary if its creepy vibe wasn't so exaggerated by people. It's kind of lost its scare factor because of this.3) Alola - Po Town's theme is excellent. Lavender Town is just really bad. Not scary at all. No suicidal kids here. Pokemon Tower sounds too quirky for a haunted theme. And it's from Gen 1. Blech... Pokemon Mansion, much like the tower is too quirky for a haunted theme. Ruins of Alph is genuinely creepy. HGSS really makes it for me. While Burned Tower isn't much of a haunted area, the theme is excellent. It doesn't fit the tower in my opinion - but if it was used as something more akin to a haunted mansion, I think it would fit that to a T. Mt Pyre is scary, but not a fan myself. ORAS did it a favour. Sealed Chamber isn't scary as a location or a theme. It's a nice theme nonetheless. Old Chateau is my favourite, and the creepiest for me. The changing tempo and strange discord in the notes makes it incredibly eerie. It fits perfectly. Excellent stuff with the Distortion World. It sounds distorted, so it fits the bill. Nice. Strange House, much like Old Chateau - is excellent. The atmosphere created by the creaking and the random gusts of wind make it very spooky. Only downside is the location. I don't like the desert-like design. N's Room isn't that scary. It's an unpopular opinion, but it really isn't nice. My favourite themes have to SOUND good, before making it atmospheric. This is about as easy on the ears as anything from Gen 1. Lost Hotel is orchestral, and sounds somewhat desolate. It fits the entirety of Kalos well - and if I didn't know any better, I'd assume it was something from a Disney movie. Scary House isn't that good. Po Town is great. Though the location isn't so scary, the desolate village of Po Town fits this. Thrifty Megamart focuses on atmosphere more, however - while contradictory to my previous statement on N's Room - it serves the location well, despite being horrid to the ears.

Hall of Origin sounds very good, and creepy as well. Not sure if it fits the area of _literally heaven_ though. Ruins of Alph Radio Signal sounds painful in GS, but HGSS does it so many favours. It's not so much creepy, than mysterious (which I love). Drought isn't creepy, just flat out terrifying. The loud synth notes are prolonged, almost like prolonging suffering. It's not a good theme. It's not a bad theme. Again, much like the Unown Signal - Ultra Space isn't creepy, just mysterious. Thought I might include Ultra Megalopolis with this. The sci-fi-esque organ is atmospheric and adds a whole lot more mystery to the location. Galactic Laboratory... Very creepy. The beeps constantly playing sporadically between your ears are disorientating and makes the atmosphere of a crazed psychopath's underground laboratory seem rather believable. Pretty much the same reasons as Galactic. Disorientating and creepy. Somehow fits Aether well. Not creepy. Quite peaceful, actually. The piano part is relaxing and the occasional wind section is also a nice touch. -i can already tell i'm in the minority on this, :p-

honestly Po Town just makes me feel really sad. The music is a bit unsettling, but when you're actually there you can feel the despair of the team. Maybe its just me, but they seemed to be the laughing stock of the entire region and never posed a real threat, so they're kinda lost and hopeless.

For me there are 3 creepiest theme from pokemon and none of them made into this list. Unown's Radio from GSC, Drought from RSE and Hall of Origin from DPPt . I know they are not counted as creepy location theme but they are surely the scariest music in pokemon
