The nostalgia of all hometowns from Gens 1-5 really hits hard. I adore all the nostalgia, from times I will probably never come back to... My personal favourite is either Nuvema or HGSS Pallet Town

the pallet town theme is so simple, comfortable, and iconic that it almost sounds as if it could be one of those hundreds of years old European piano tunes that get played on holidays or something were it not in 8 bit MIDI

Hearing postwick reminded me when I started my adventure in sheild and it’s just so happy remembering that memory. Edit : Even though sword and sheild are the newest main game in the series. Edit 2 : if your wondering why I had main in there because there is spin off games like Pokémon cafe that came out after sheild.
