I must say, the way Gestalt was played for the sequel truly made the character a lot more interesting. What used to be back then simply a MAG-sized abomination turned into an entire plot point and a major character at that, acting as the overarching antagonist's means to become powerul beyond what his kind could have ever imagined. Truly one of the most recognizable MAGs in the games. Now, I do wonder if they could do anything with MAG Agent: N.

What made this boss fight bearble in my opinion. Is if you armed Sandford and deimos with the big guns on the final phase before Phobos their aim is actually on par (or better then) with yours so they actually hit Gestalt and cause major damage and makes thr bods fight faster.

I managed to kill gestalt during the third encounter accidentally he did his dive attack and couldn't hold up the crusher so he was crushed

only design flaw with the gestalts and the hives is that the latter spawn multiple mutations of creature, some of which are incompatible with each other when absorbed by the former.

I also do believe Gestalt was handled better than Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 remake as Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 remake was overused as a boss too many times after his rocket launcher Chase he just comes down to scripted boss fights Queen comforters I liked from him where the humanoid City chases flamethrower fight rocket launcher Chase and his final fight another problem I have with him he goes down with one grenade mr. X doesn't care same thing was just all they just don't Flinch at all even though Gestalt has a smaller moveset compared to remake nemesis Gestalt was utilized the most even with his small moveset
