Yeah you can start doing topic wise Q's and practice papers if bitsat is your main goal, but if you want to keep other options open then continue solving JEE question papers as well...

Yes you can but trust me partial drops are not that easy, you have to control your distractions a lotttt. So it all depends on your will power, if you know yourself then decision must be easy. Never overthink.

Dekho civil ke saath opportunity kam milengi IT sector mei placements ki but milengi, basically kuch ho companies allow karengi sab nahi

5K rank in VIT. Is it equivalent to get an admission in CSE in BITS Goa?

We can't actually compare these two but in my opinion it isn't because of the fact that bits have much less CSE seats. You need a rank of 2000-3000 in BITSAT to get CSE in any campus and that rank is as hard as scoring under 4-5k in JEE mains so yeah 5k in VITEE is not enough for cse.

See, fee structure for you at VIT Vellore will be pretty low in comparison to BITS. Maybe not BITS Goa CSE but surely equivalent to BITS Pilani EEE or BITS Hyderabad CSE.

Bhaiya Maine suna tha ki bits mei pratice school hote hai aur pratice school ek semester ke liye chalta hai and use liye alag se pay karna padta hai so hame Hamare semester fees mei hi wo pratice school ka fees include ho jata hai ya hame us semester fees ke alawa Hume pratice school ke liye alag se pay karna hai pls reply

Oh lol, I forgot. Yes you have to pay both tuition fee + PS fee. PS 1 is of 2 months in summer vacations so only PS fee for PS1. But PS2 poora sem ke liye hota hai and there you have to pay tuition fee + PS fee and no hostel fee.

chemical as a branch is relatively easy, but for IT sector placements you might also have to search for off campus opportunities, there are a little less opportunities on campus with respect to other branch.

Yes there is. Nothing much just location ka difference hai and pilani campus mei there are slightly more no. of opportunities

Hi bhaiya, mera ek doubt tha.... Maine bits ka fee structure dekha and wahan pe summer term ka 69000 charge tha.... Is the summer term compulsory kya uske bina achhi cgpa nahi aati?

PS is compulsory not the summer term, summer term is for students who want to pursue some other thing also like minor in finance, data science or something else. Ex: for dualites there are not enough units for minors so they have to take summer term to do minor in any field.

No ps1 is not a paid internship and PS2 mei avg 30-40k pm hota hai stipend. Nahi irritate nahi ho rahe bhai 😂

You can opt for dual degree in bits and try to take a good branch in your first year, it will be better than Manipal imo...

In terms of future scope, in my opinion you should go for Cs and being in mechanical myself and speaking from my own experience, opportunities of getting into a good company and having a high package are far less in core branches. And CS placements are very good in bits pilani with average package being 20L+ if you are a decent Student. Sure, you can do good in Chemical too but it would be relatively difficult and the opportunities will be less...😄

Bhai sir mat bol me bhi ek student hi hun😂, and bits me to eesa hota hai ki kuch companies hoti hain that don't allow students from other branches to sit for their placements, but IIT's me shayad eesa zyada companies ke liye nahi hota. First 2 days mein around 48% companies open to all hoti hain aur first 2 days ke baad sab open to all but microsoft and all nahi milta. And one advice from my side, I understand the excitement but don't worry about branches and colleges focus on your preparation and you'll get CS in one of the IIT's All the best!!

bits pilani and iits are on an equivalent level ,but bitsat is comparatively easier to crack ..so sir is it advisable for one to focus on bitsat and leave adv ?and sir is IIT tag a big thing in future ?

Yes I agree, if you have an idea go for startup or business but if you don't and bits is the best option you're getting then its the brand name that'll help you in your whole life even in startups, you don't have to beg or work like hell for funding. Think long term when it comes to investments (any kind) in life.
