Ok but for real, Aatrox's story is so sad, this man just wants to die that's the reason why he's challenging everyone he met because he hopes that other dude or that army can kill him, and I think in theory the moment he killed Pantheon(the aspect of war himself) that only strenthens his hope that he can die as well, because when Aatrox is inside that sword he feels pain, he feels the pain of gasping for air but you cannot breathe, he sees nothing but darkness, everyone in that state would've gone mad, and it is said that Aatrox is the most noblest and if I remember correctly he is the most powerful ascended god warrior in his time. The only reason Aatrox keeps coming back is because he changes the host everysingle time someone hold the sword. Also it is most likely Pantheon is able to fight the big version of Aatrox(ultimate) since you can see Aatrox's head behind Pantheon's splash art.
