People are raid logging already cus dungeons dailies and raids don’t give CACHES and personal loot with good gear like it did in MalGanis, there’s no incentive to log more hours, you can’t get arena gear in 1v1’s and there hasn’t been a new LRE in a hot minute nowadays. Server is slowly dying they need something big soon imo

I agree even if it pains me to say it. They need to bring back all the LRE's they're redesigning pretty much ASAP, add caches, and stop catering to 2% of players in pvp.

Yh i don't even bother with dailies all your getting is the marks which are pretty useless if you have a build that is gonna be farming dailies anyway

Chadhardbody - alar you are spot on about bg's, so fun to lvl then you hit 70 and get stomped by merciless gladiators with 16k health. I hope ascension devs will do something like normalize pvp power but only in bg's or like everyone gets a baseline resil in bgs idk.

Spells and abilities in Ascension seem really strangely balanced. Some do pretty much no damage, others do massive damage. Particularly in PvP.

Its sort of bandaid fixes all over the place since they probably find it damn near impossible to properly balance with all the different combinations.

@@Mcdoubles Yeah, probably. Can't buff spells so much that they are great standalone, but still have to be good enough with specific builds. Balancing the game seems like an impossible task. I'm happy it's as good as it is at least.

Mcdoubles, i did an arcane explosion build while lvling in bgs. I never found the best legendary RE to use but i think this could work with wacky wizard. You basically just run around and cc while melting the entire death ball. Me and a friend made an entire bg rage quit after the first wipe. Double arcane explosion Op, there also used to be a good way to use holy nova but they nerfed it.

Think the random cast RE for Druid is a bit better. Mage spells are so dependent on witch way you're facing and the distance to your target. Random poly can also screw you over real hard. But that arcane explosion spam looks amazing!

I feel like there needs to be another bracket, changing the lowest braket to 100 and below and then another bracket from 100-110. And having to do arena on this server to get good PvP gear sucks so much. A lot of the builds I make are made with BGs in mind, not arena, so it just ends up making the gear acquisition process for people like me feel Terrible. Now, if they were to introduce RBGs, that I think would be fun to try out in ascension's "classless" system, but no matter what, they need to make the game less arena focused. I play WoW PvP for the BGs, not to do competitive 1v1 2v2 and 3v3 duels.

Arena really isn't bad to get the gear from but 2v2 is required for the other pieces and there are hardly ever teams running

There are quite a lot of solo players and 2v2 solo Q is hell on earth. Not because randoms are bad but you get put against high MMR teams often in my experience. The pool is small and gets smaller as the season progresses. They seem to get decent rating off it too, even 2k Vs 1.5k.

I've never really done the whole roleplaying thing, but I would imagine if you have a roleplaying dungeongroup - a build like this would be hilarious! Make a skill that gives 25% more damage to spells but 20% chance to target something else (including partymembers)

Idea for a legendary enchant: Suicide bomber - upon death deal % fire aoe dmg(5yards) of your current mana( calculated right before death) scaling off fire multipliers. If you died while standing on flamestrike, apply a burn to the target that scales with ignite Mana spells cost 20% more(or whatever a good balance number is) Alar: Darkhealz

I love the ideas for PvP but I think free gear should be free BG gear, so it's locked to BG only. OR if you really want to set it up with competitive arenas/BGs later on then you can even have it be casual only gear. IDK, just liked the ideas and wanted to build on them! Thanks for the vid

I tried using arcane displacement with Mana Fiend LE. Though it wasn't a min-max combo, it was a pretty fun teleporting to the enemy to deal a melee strike that hits like a level 2-3 Starfire early game. - Kitli

You know what's REALLY fun? Getting Blizzard and Epic it to a casted spell - do that on a large gathering first, then consecration, Starfall then Arcane Blasts! HUGE DPS

My pvp character is essentially this, but with the wacky warlock instead and a whole lot of spell haste. Warlock gets almost entirely single target damage and talents that heal you for a good number of those spell's damage delt. - BunnuhBun
