Judge is definitely an interesting role. But it probably needs conditions other than "see the town lose". Maybe randomize it so judge wins with a random existing faction, so the whole subpoena thing could be used to find your teammates, after which night chat opens up. For example: If allied with town, judge can speak with the first town member he found at night, but town member can't talk back. If allied with apoc or coven, judge can just join their night chat. If allied with neutrals, judge wins as long as any neutral wins and can speak with the first neutral he found. If allied with neutral killing, judge wins when only neutral killing remain alive. So if it's judge, werewolf and serial killer left, judge leaves. If allied with jackals, judge can talk with jackal prime if he finds any of the jackals.

@@noahthesk It could also work like a mix of inquisitor and executioner of some sort. Where you have to find a specific random role and hang them, which is where the court comes into play, which you can call once, resetting if target changed. If that role dies, you get a new random one out of those you haven't revealed yet. And if all roles are revealed, you lose unless you found three targets before they died, regardless of whether they got executed or not, then you win and leave town.

​@@Alfonso162008 thats because some of those are modded roles. The mod is better tos2, regular tos2 is quite a bit simpler. For most factions its just last one standing, but for neutral roles you just got to fulfill your win condition.

Town could win if more people in this lobby actually listened. There is like 5 players (Kara, Ze, Skadj, Apple and Chilled) who actually get how to play and listen to others, the rest are just yelling over each other and going off gut feeling. So many rounds where Town could win, but because half of those 5 players were bad, Town just passively watch as they get killed and obvious bad guys live for more rounds than they should. I guess adding more town roles can fix this a little, but it's still a cointoss whether that leads to town victories, since it still relies on the better players being on Towns side.

Courtilly could have helped Ze out by letting him know she was "bad" and it wasn't that he wasn't communicating his innocence effectively. But it did save it for the reveal at the end.

Also Ze still seems to fail to understand that grabbing the persons role you actually selected is 50/50. Like hes been told like 5 times in several sessions and still doesn't seem to grasp it because his first few times using it were in his favor. This was one of the first games judge was played, so pretty much none of them knew he was against town and thought it was just neutral. They should know now, that if someones revealed as judge that they need to go asap, even bad guys. The sooner you get judge out the better (less info they'll have on everyone). The frustration from zes pov is understandable but it should make sense if you have the info thats presented to you.

I mean, a majority of the reason Chilled wasn't dead on the spot was because no one actually knew what Judge does, despite it taking 2 clicks maximum to know what ANY role does within a game. Chilled got to say "Oh, I'm the Judge.", then filibuster to kingdom come for 2-3 days, walk out after town gets hung, & let Jackals clean up the rest.

How often does town even win with these lobbies? It's not even a 7v7 at the start, it's a 8v6 because one of the townies is jackal. It seems so impossible for town even with no one dying for 3 nights straight. All the different bad guy factions just look the other way and team up, and they're all able to kill and vote out town one by one, meanwhile town's got at most one killing role and one or two town power roles to combat the 8 bad guy votes.

​@@tylerprince6371A lot of the problem they have in this game deals with the fact it is supposed to be a text game. Filibustering is much harder to do when typed. A good example is Vikram. He might be taken a lot more seriously if this typed but when he talks everything turns jester. Also the role changes need to be balanced so town can win. Executioner was balanced as is it doesn't need to punish town.
