Actually casting Runic Invocation without any runes has a very niche but important function. If you are using Runebolt with the Echomancy node you can effectively get the same results as the Immutable Order node for Runic Invocation, basically you can "force" a specific order of runes without the downside of a cooldown on Runic Invocation. If you cast a runeless invocation while using the Echomancy node it "resets" the order that your Runebolts will cast in, which allows you to mixup which invocation your actually casting. For example if your casting F-L-F with Immutable Order your only other viable three combo Invocation is L-F-L regardless of what else is on your hotbar, however with Echomancy you can effectively pick any of the 27 three combo invocations at any time so long as your willing to switch it up.

You can go to champion's gate and use the abilitys on target dummies for arcing/targeted abilities, if you didnt know. cheers

I started playing LE to scratch that itch of playing a frost mage without the pressure and hassle of an MMO. Rocking a Glacier Sorcerer, it's been... mixed. It was recommended for newer players to the genre, and it was a recommended build, though I specced into the ice vortex nodes way more heavily than I maybe should have. Seeing some of the Runemaster options, though... yeah, definitely rolling up one of those next. The triple ice invocation for a blizzard effect looks cool enough on its own, but all the other options... so many choices, and such riches aplenty. Probably going to farm up some gear on the main first, though, and settle on a build beforehand. A LoL Ryze proxy looks simple enough to build for a start ^^

I have a question... Since there are 3 elements (to use 3 element spells) and 1 invoke skill required, this leaves only 1 free spot on your bar. So if you want a teleport and a flame shield for example, you can't do it. How do people work around this?

Another question. Is there a way to find all the possible invocations within the game? Or do you have to learn them using the web (seems silly since they have an in game GUIDE they could use)?

Teleport is tagged as NO element! Regardless how you specialize in it so it won’t interfere If you want to flame shield or other skills before your invocation combo I would use it first. For example (flame shield) (F-L-F)(runic invocation)

You should remake this video in a lower level area (if you are scared of dying mid video as you talk) to show off the skills. You could also just do a voice recording over video. You can use the campaign missions where you have a NPC tag-a-long to demo the friendly Runic Invocations.

Wow haven't seen any spell call antipode since chrono trigger on snes. It's "Anne tip oh dee" the meaning is cool. It means the reaction of 2 extreme opposites IE fire and ice combined

I wish there would be an actual incentive to use at least 10% of those in the endgame. Most of the endgame builds are using at best frostguard + dmg spell like triple fire. Plenty of builds just have a frostguard as a "locked" invocation

I thought the Rune system would be too much for me so I went for a Spellblade for my first Mage. I could be a master of the three elements, using different abilities in combination to produce the desired result...or I could just Shatter Strike over and over until the enemies fall down XD Also, not that I want to be "that person", but what does the other A in "AARPG" stand for? I thought it was just ARPG - as in, an Action RPG :D
