All Saints - Bootie Call (Official Music Video)

Watch the official music video for "Bootie Call" by All Saints.
"Bootie Call" was first released on 31 August 1998 as the band's fourth official single, accompanied by a B-side entitled "Get Down" as well as previous hit "I Know Where It's At" and a remix of "Never Ever". "Bootie Call" achieved chart success; topping the UK Singles Chart on 6 September 1998, and at the same time becoming the group's third consecutive number-one hit. The single also performed well internationally, peaking within the top 10 in The Netherlands and Ireland, and the top 40 in Belgium and Sweden.
The video featured All Saints sitting and lying down in an open top car while singing the song. There was also clips of a group of people walking down the street wearing matching outfits, various people being silly with the phone, break dancing in the street and a woman playing golf on top of the phone box.

I had it with Mortal Coil`s cover of Song to the Siren which i suddenly remembered I used to play on record of my dad`s collection also around age 5 only after I found it again also like 20 years later, but I was 10 when this song came out,.. I used to think differently as a kid. I used to prefer Spice Girls over them but now fast forward twenty years later and I have a different perspective, I realized something. All Saints is on a different league. A league of their own. A girlband that deserved more recognition than what they've had. Their songs & sounds are sophisticated, non-conforming & perhaps way ahead of its time! Man, had I known what I know now, I could have done more as a fan. Nonetheless, I am still thankful that I grew up with this kind of music and artistry.
