I bought my mom a S21+ 2years ago, and couldn’t transfer files to my PC devices since then. The S21+ couldn’t connect to pc whether via USB cable or wifi or Bluetooth, I even bought 2 USB cable form Samsung online store, none of them worked. Finally I found this video and succeeded to transfer files to my PC.😭 Your video is very instructive and super clear, thank you for the tutorial.👍

Holy Crap! It worked. I am old and hate these smart phones. Whenever I try to look up how to do something on the phone, the info I find is never right! This video was totally correct. This app is AMAZING! Your instructions were clear and simple - everything worked exactly as you stated first time. I immediately downloaded a few video files from my phone to laptop - only took a few seconds per video using wi-fi connection. Each video was about 30 seconds long and high res. Now I'm lamenting the time and hassle I expended using my usb cord and doing it the old-school way. And the connectivity problems & error messages I had trying to upload to Google Drive. Again, thank you SO MUCH for this video.

Thank you! It didn't work right away but eventually I got it. This was helpful to get the initial setup. Initially I kept getting a 'Receiving Failed' error on all file transfer attempts - no matter whether I selected Bluetooth, Wifi or LAN. For others having this problem .... if your on a desktop PC and you have both Wifi and LAN (ethernet) connected at the same time, it required me to disconnect one and use only that one when making transfers. The PC app should be intelligent enough to distinguish that if the app is connected via Wifi it should use Wifi, or Bluetooth for Bluetooth, etc. But that wasn't so in my case. It will only work for me on Wifi, for example, if I physically unplug the Ethernet cable so the only connection is Wifi. In my case it needs that manual adjustment to work. But it now works with those caveats.

Thank you so much for the simplified breakdown! Thank goodness for fast wireless transfer! The files I've been transferring are far larger 1GB+ and it far easier than constantly having to find a usb c cable and deal with all that.

This was a lifesaver as my android device was not allowing me to control my device from my pc using USB even after watching countless videos of how to enable it. I literally spent maybe an hour and a half trying to figure it out. Went under developer settings and tried to debug USB and selected the correct USB configuration for transferring files and nothing was working and when trying to do it from the android system, it said it couldn't switch and failed to allow me to control from my PC. Thus not giving me access to my phones files. This was a great work around and now I won't even need a cable in the future, thanks again so much!

Worked perfectly with your directions. The only thing is it will only let me select 1 file at a time. I don't have the little circle in the upper corner of my jpg files to select several when I goes to select image. Do you know why it is not letting me select several? Do they have to be in a folder to be able to do this?

@sakitech In my point of view this app is not necessary, if you have latest version of galaxy file manager. You can transfer files instantly via network storage. If you use file manager's network storage, there is no need to install any software on PC

Why not just use the "link to windows" feature that's already installed on all Samsung devices? Then you can use all your phone apps on your pc as well as transfer stuff

@@abdulrasak0750 You probably figured it out by now but to anyone else reading this. After you link your phone , you can access all your apps from your computer. So for instance you could open DropBox or myFiles app and then save your desired file to whatever storage drive you point to.

Will this work with an S10? My S10 is on the network via WiFi and my desktop is hardwired to the same network. The desktop sees the S10 but when I click on it I get an error message saying make sure they are both on the same network. Any clues? I also installed a wifi card in my desktop and connected to the network that way but still not working.

The Samsung Flow app is garbage. Flow limits selecting over 500 files and the clunky interface is terrible. I would just like to access the DCIM folder on my phone from my PC and be able to copy or sync files or folders through Windows Explorer. Is that much to ask Samsung?
