Edit: Since recording this I've seen one new item: Failing Cerus' CC bar can sometimes simply cause him to massively heal (example: 80% -> 100% w/o poison). Doesn't change the strategy, but worth mentioning.

It's been actually the bane of my first run and only wipe on this. Once too many people die, you can't carry this with 3-4 people remaining, cause if you can't CC him, he'll heal back up.

we didn't CC for five times and the few people who knew this got sooo pissed off for us and were yelling in squad chat 😂 it went from 10% to 20% every time until we CCed the boss. That is evil design. I can't wait for CMs to hit.

Also, the small ones are not invulnerable by default, they only become invulnerable if you killed them on the previous split phase. Killing the small ones has no positive effect whatsoever, and allows Cerus to take one extra buff to an attack into the upcoming phases.

For Temple of Febe, I think the challenge mode will have the same mechanics and be more punishing. The challenge mode title achievement (CM CM) will be as you said, don't kill any of the splits and let him be fully empowered. I'm looking forward to that strike cm the most.

Kill one version -> other two are empowered, kill one version -> other three are empowered

I would also guess that more of the mechanics will inflict exposed or other non removable effects, and that abilities will overlap more/fire off faster/ have different order of activation. If anet actually wants coordination then I would say that the gluttony (collect orbs) could work like AH CM where players can only absorb so many of them. And that the three greens are not stackable in cm line they are now. But who knows maybe it will just be all abilities start in the current empowered state and they get a T3 empowerment instead.

Maybe the challenge mode for Cerus will be you only get to kill 1 clone instead of 2, and once he has 4 empowered, there's a third choice phase where 2 skills get double empowered?

Yes should we split the 3 greens? Or stack? I’ve been in groups that stack all 3 and all instantly die or in groups that stack and all live. And others split the greens with 3 people each and some instances all die and sometimes all live after the blast?

When you have 3 greens just stack all 10 people and heal through it

@@tonysu4293 people die in stacked green when cerus get buffed too much. like 15+ stack. when people say that febe is easy without doing mechanic is because other people do all the mechanic.

I feel like challenge mode may still do the split but youll only be able to pick one to kill instead of two and empower the others. Which is still nasty.

What do you do with buffed regret? (3 green circles) do you stack all ppl in one place or 3 ppl per circle? I know this ability was bugged(in general not just in this strike), but it still feels like sometimes no matter if you are stacked or not it just wipes everyone

Is FEBE easier than HT? The sins part (envy gluttony and so on) look difficult, but I can easily clear HT

HT has 11 phases but at any given moment only one thing is happening at a time. So there is lots to remember, but it isn't overwhelming during the fight dealing with mechanics. I'd say Febe is similar. The boss essentially has 6 abilities he goes through on rotation, and once you know them it is simple.

Do we know when the rewards will reset for the astral weekly/special thing? Like.. when will griffon skin, etc reset? Idk where to find that info ^_^

I THINK the special tab and shop refreshes are seasonal, so every 3 months.

Nope. GW2 has terrible accessibility for end game content. Meta events on the maps and it ends there. Fractals, strikes and raids players need to look up external sources not to turn it into a disaster. Actually even the open world content can fail because of the game design. You're pretty much forced to put cc skills on your utility bar because at any moment you can find yourself in an event with a break bar. So anyone who joins the fight who actually had optimised skills selected, suddenly turns into a nuisance for the group instead of a help.

CM Febe will have 12 adds to kill/let live and you can only kill 1

I think even IBS strikes are harder than these new strikes tbh. They good for some easy loot and obscure mastery points at least.

Harder in term of damage dealt maybe, but in term of mechanic absolutely not. The IBS strikes don't even have a spread mechanic.

exactly what i was thinking, you can do it without knowing anything. Mechanics are lacking but kinda alright for a normal mode i guess... they are just undertuned so badly, i hope they buff it or make cm very challenging

i think in CM the lasers will insta kill and u can only kill 1 instead of 2 demons, maybe a set amount of people can go in a green too and if its more or less its a wipe?

Overall disappointing boring strikes....here's hoping the CMs will improve them Granted Cyrus is a bit more interesting but not punishing enough imo
