NEW LORE: The Ancient Serpentine split up into 6: the ones who stayed, Anacondrai, Venemari, Constrictai, Hypobrai, Fangpyre. Later, some of the ones who stayed went to the water which is the opposite of the lava that erupted and killed some of the Ancient Serpentine.

Skales is amazing I love the hyp In Vietnam we call them Hổ mang (hyp), Huyết xà (fang), Trăn Tinh (anacondrai), Độc xà (venom), Thổ xà (cons)

Why the hell didn't the Constrictai just escape by burrowing out of their tomb? They were sealed inside a mountain made of dirt and stone which Skalidor shows they can easily burrow around in. Its not like there was metal in the mountain like with the Fire Nation imprisoning Earth Benders in metal prisons so they couldn't Earth Bend.

No, Every Anacondrai was locked away, Pythor was the only one who didnt either Starve, Dehydrate or Get eaten.
