That was F Excellent, and I'd be accepted as an expert witness in any court in the country. Except, maybe, D.C. and NY. In 1985, I was 15 and a bmx freak. Was riding a full Hutch Pro Racer through a friend's neighborhood and heard what I thought was a blaring car stereo playing Over The Mountain by Ozzy. Was actually a couple of guys I went to school with. One on guitar and the other on drums. At that moment, my life changed. Two weeks later, I had a Charvel with the Jackson headstock and the shark tooth fret markers. Wish I still had it. I became obsessed with being a killer guitar player. With Lynch, Cambpell, DeMartini, etc as my role models, how could I go wrong. To ve a new guitar player in the middle of the Golden Era of badasd guitar players, I still feel so lucky. Every badass hair song that has a vid, I got to see play on Mtv for the very first time. They always made a big deal about a debut. The second Smells Like Teen Schidt hit the air, music has been on a constant decline of quality. Alice In Chains gets a pass. You guys kicked the shit out of that, and the harmonic solo was badass. Usually have to dig oyt some Judas Priest to see that.
