Spot on for leo. We separated last year because he wants things his way. We are both new parents to a now toddler and he wasn’t pulling his weight as a parent. Too focused and obsessed with work. Left everything on my shoulders but yet deflects and projects on to me. His mother doesn’t respect my boundaries and doesn’t make the effort with our child but yet i’m expected to go out of my way and visit his mother, take our child but yet i’m doing everything when it comes to raising our child. It’s all about how his mother feels, not the mother of his child. He expects me to make plans with his family to see our toddler. That’s not my responsibility. Look it’s done and he became bitter saying horrible things to get a reaction out of me. For a whole year he hasn’t seen our child consistently because he wants things his way. That’s fine he will weep what he sows. Promise. He is a gemini lol and i’m not engaging with him anymore. There’s no point. There’s nothing to say. He’s a clown.

He was probably extremely controlled by his mother while he was growing up. That wound or fear hasn’t left his psyche I think.. that’s why even when he has his own family now, he is still stuck on his mom/parents. He is probably trying to make them happy thru you n your child. But you do you. It’s for him to heal his fears n wounds. You don’t let that affect you or your child. Stay Strong!!! His father was never there and could’ve been, he grew up thinking his aunt was his mother because she was busy working and other responsibilities. I understand the core issues here but when you’ve shown someone empathy, understanding and reached out to them to have a conversation but they’re being defensive and selfish it gets tedious. I even recommended him seeing a therapist as i’ve done myself years ago. But he became nasty towards me out of control. I see he’s trying to appease to his mother through our child but his mother needs to take accountability for her lack. She doesn’t see her others grandchildren because of how she’s treated her children growing up and he uses our son to fulfil that void too. It’s conflicting because he even said he wouldn’t want his mother coming to my home without him being there because he knows how she is. Although I have welcomed her. I’m a grown woman and can handle myself. But that’s not his or my responsibility. Regardless this shouldn’t be a reason to not see your child. I’ve never stopped him but he will say things like “you don’t want me to have a relationship with my child” i have questioned his mental state. The only person stopping him from seeing his child is him. The door is always open but i’m done with the games to control me. It’s not happening. Thank you ❤
