@@violinlounge I was looking at those violins for sale for a friend of mine who started it months before Christmas, but my friend could not afford that much. She borrowed one from her friend while she's on a church mission trip, and my friend loved playing it.

Oooh... I''m not really in the market for a violin right now (change of priorities) - but I can't deny I'm tempted by those Derahas. In particular, they seem to have that sweet richness in the higher registers that I've been having a hard time finding in any reasonable price range. And one of them has a one-piece back, right?

OMG, those Deraha violins sound better than my $3000 German antique violin. these violin don't seem to choke at the higher positions at all!! and have a good tone .I was always planning to upgrade before university, wish I could have one :( i really should get one of these before they run out, so i don't have to spend $10,000 on a professional sounding instrument, but im broke at the moment lol.

I would only sell 7 not 8 if I were you because I would like to have a backup one in case my other violin would have to be in a luthier's hands.
