I don't know about him, but to get a Slash Sound take a Marshall silver jubilee. Gain turned up to 10 or better 11. Then boost the mids with an graphic EQ (around 500Hz-2kHz) and cut some of the high end (4kHz-16kHz) and for solos add an extra clean boost (+10 to 12db) -> infinit sustain 🤘
