Ink or Sink, Seaskape and Kraken Up are so nastolgic for me, when Splatoon was out and selling I played it everyday, proud of every match I played even if I lost, and took skill in every weapon I tried, even if it wasnt for me. Man this brings back memories and nastolgia. Boy I want to play Splatoon over again.

I have a theory: The Urchin is not the original drummer, so perhaps the name "Squid Squad" was 100% accurate when the band was formed. Green Day, Nirvana, Blink-182, The Beatles, and Red Hot Chili Peppers are all popular bands whose most famous drummer is not not the original, so it is possible that Squid Squad was a correct name that stuck even when their original drummer was replaced with Murasaki.

I find it insane the audacity of Nintendo to be like yes Murasaki canonically sucks at the drums all he does is hit the snare repeatedly also he’s a child where did they even get this guy. Nintendo you hired a real drummer to play that character and I can hear him hitting more than just the snare drum be nice to him goddamn. In general whenever Nintendo is like Squid Squad isn’t actually that good only Nami knows what she’s doing everyone else is musically infantile I’m like NINTENDO YOU HIRED REAL MUSICIANS TO DO THAT THEY CAN HEAR YOU. Luckily the Squid Research Lab stuff tends to be nicer to them. Don’t get me wrong, that stuff is great for characterization. However, Murasaki can play more than just the snare I can literally hear him hitting more than just the snare >:(
