Q139... Fa-Hein / Faxian came to India to get the Authentic copies of the Buddhist scriptures... When he came, he initially came across the Vinaya pitaka ( One of the three Tripitakas which is the Buddhist literature) texts which were not in good condition and torn.. he called more 3-4 monks from China to help him and decided to rewrite the texts, later they together rewrote Vinaya pitaka... And further went to the south that is towards Srilanka

It was also said that one Greek representative will remain in the empire court of Chandragupta and the ambassador was Megasthanes who wrote the book 'INDICA' and was the Greek ambassador of Seleucus....
