All-star Node or MMDVM Hot-spot ?

I like that for Allstar, I can use an analog radio. I have Allstar, DMR, DStar and a Wires-X room. I like Wires-X and Alstar best but all have their place imo. Thanks for the video.

Do both: 1) Build Allstar node in the cloud with DVswitch (analog and mmdvm bridge) 2) Build MMDVM hotspot and install XLX 3) with dvswitch bridge allstar into a module on XLX Your free to stick whatever talkgroups onto max 26 rooms in XLX, in addition to normal DMR network TG surfing

I can setup a hotspot without too much difficulty, but had an expert build my ASL.

I have the baofeng 1701 and the radtel rt 4d and for me the radtel is way better it is my favorite

Once gd77 is loaded on 1701 its very good but no airband the 4d is way more wide banded but no colour screen .

@HamTechRadioScannerDrones interesting i have gd77 on the baofeng but dont like it, just feels like an unfinished project. Maybe i didnt give it a fair shot to learn it i dont know
