I still get goose bumps watching him walk up to get that award. I was 12 when True Grit came out. My sister took me to the drive in to see it. Loved him then, love him now.

These years were the best in America far as im concerned!! The best times and Hollywood had the best films with best actors. I’m thankful to have lived thru these years, Now it’s a terrible time in comparison. John was and still is the legend and a true American hero.. The golden years are gone, but the memories are here forever. RIP John Wayne, you will always be my hero!!
