This cast feels like something right out of a drag race simulator. Like, no hate to Ginger and Jorgeous, but they have no place on a regular all stars anymore, they should be at the very least on an international season

I disagree with your stance on Jorgeous. Ginger yeah, now 3 all stars, all competing for themselves. With a big cash prize at the end. Ginger lost twice, shouldn’t be brought back. Jorgeous has only been on one all stars - where they were competing for charity. There was no chance for Jorgeous to come away with a cash prize. Now Jorgeous can come back to compete for herself which in my opinion, warrants her presence. Very quick to come back again though.

Look at Raja’h, Silky and Eureka, they all went to international seasons, and AS6 was 3 years ago. We literally saw Jorgeous earlier this year and we’re about to see her again, like girl take your time (and btw I feel the same way about the s17 queen, too early for her to come back)

No time to gain more experience or money to build a package though. That being said, I don’t think we’ll see looks and/or fashion like AS9 again unless they recast Plastique or Mik or there’s another All Winners that includes Violet. There aren’t many that I’d consider a ‘look/fashion queens’ in this cast. Kerri? Maybe… maybe?…Denali or Daya? I wouldn’t say the bar appears low this season in this regard but it’s definitely surmountable. Are they doing stipends again this season?

I couldn’t watch Global for fear of a dumpster fire. I mean production shenanigans/English speaking bias, not the queens. Is that what’s happening? That’s too bad. I wish this franchise wasn’t so greedy. Do a few prompts & edits, maybe, but otherwise just let the girls compete. With so many big personalities, I would think that story arcs would emerge on their own. There’s no need to know who the winner is before the season even begins. Do an All Stars every other year and stop bleeding the pool dry. And figure out this Vs. The World nonsense. And never, ever, ever again let Ru & Michelle judge a non-American season again. Ever.

This prevents Queens from wasting tons of money on lewks only to end up going home first and not getting a chance to show any of them. ALL Queens will get 3 Episodes guaranteed. The remainder get to then pack for the rest of the series. I'm only confused about the returning Queen who gets to comeback to make the top 10. We don't know who that is yet but they've been on break gathering lewks for a while now.

Am I the only one who wishes to see more Season 12 queens on All Stars? Jan was on AS6, Heidi on AS8 (barely). Where are Crystal, Jackie, Brita, Rock M., Dahlia, Gigi, and even Aiden? I really enjoyed this season and it seems that its contestants will not come back, unfortunately.

I could totally see queens who haven't had a chance to compete again NOT wanting to come back because mildly what you stated AND most AS have queens who have completed 3 or 4 times every season, so why would I want to come back to compete again for my first all stars when I know queens who have been back 3 or 4 times and these queens are usually favored. So, I could totally see that mindset. Until something changed, I wouldn't accept coming back.

I think it's cuz ginger came back for all stars 6 and did really well and was rewarded. In all stars 9 jorgeous did so well in so many challenges but barely won- so it feels like theres more to see from her, and more to prove. Ginger has shown everything she has and was already rewarded for it.

Apparently what happened with the Lydia Kollins situation is: from what it sounds like, Maddy Morphosis was the original cast for that slot, but she either declined or dropped out. And then the initial replacement was MIRAGE, but she turned it down too. So Lydia was their third choice.

4:30 The only way this would work for the queens if they told them that before. They would only prepare runway and all that for only the the 3-5 episodes in case they get eliminated. After they make it they get 2-3 weeks break to prepare for the next round. I know its harder to shoot and plan and all that but thats the only way to keep this going

Ginger Minj is EXTREMELY talented. I don't know what is wrong with some people. She keeps eyes on the screen, even if these queens don't get it. I saw her live, and nearly the entire place went wild when she came out. She's multi-talented, and her one weak area is her clothing choices. Sometimes though she can nail it. But, she can sing better than anyone that's come from the show (I Am What I Am live in front of Harvey Fierstein, and her Double Wide Diva country album are top notch and those country songs sound as slick and radio worthy as anything on the radio, especially Walk Tall and Double Wide Diva). All Stars wouldn't have been that enjoyable without her. Yes, she's back again, but that's because Ru chose her 2nd place, which is high praise, but isn't a win. She hopefully performs well again and Ru chooses her. If not, I'd prefer she go home early so everyone who rags on her can see how boring the show will be without her LOL

Super excited to see what some of these queens have been up to and have to offer. I do agree that perhaps Jorgeous & Ginger’s spots could have gone to other queens. I think that it really is like: “what more do they have to offer” when we’ve seen all they can do. Because if they make it to the top 10 it’s just gonna feel crappy for the other queens, and if they don’t make it to the top 10, it’ll feel like what was the point of bringing them back over someone else. They’re in a lose-lose scenario for ban bias.

Not sure if that‘s a spoiler, but let me still do a spoiler warning: . . . . . . What i really love about this is, that they filmed the group episodes already during summer and the queens only had to make runways ready for these episodes. The rest of the episodes, as the groups come together, will be filmed later this year or early next year. So that way, the „early eliminations“ don‘t need to spend money for the whole season and there‘s a break for the still competing ones to re-charge, so it‘ll be even more fun.

This is the system they should've trialed on Global All Stars. It's interesting, new and different, plus we would've gotten a queen from Spain, Holland and Thailand. Three groups of 5 queens and the Top 3 of each advances to the next round plus a wild card queen, very similar to Eurovision or the Olympics. More time for us to get to know the queens and for them to showcase their talent.

Scarlet changed up her look and I'm here for it! She always looks phenomenal in drag! Mera including blond in her wig is a nice nod to Scarlet's usual aesthetic too. I feel like the format is a solid compromise between nonelimination and unceremoniously dumping the filler or queens whose weakness just happens to be an early episode, looking at you Jiggly. Speaking of, I'd rather see Jiggly than Ginger from AS6 for sure.

I gotta say, while definitely still acknowledging that there are four light skinned black girls here, this doesn't feel like a particularly melanated cast for 2024 - I would love to see Nina Bo'Nina (the gag!), Luxx, Dida or Tamisha. Also, love to see a lot of early outs and especially early outs from early seasons, but am surprised that we aren't getting more of the more recent 'break out' stars (Where is Maddy) and that if we are bringing girls from the US franchise back to the US franchise for their third and fourth times then my god, isn't it about time we got to see the likes of Thorgy again?

I would like a season to be like a total drama island format idk if another show does this probably survivor idk I don’t watch it but I want 2 groups to compete and the challenges don’t have to be team based it could be a team wins cause 2 of the 3 tops are queens from that group then when it’s top 6-7 it goes to you are on your own and then they compete and win solo at that point while the whole time being kinda a solo but slight group effort people are also willing to fight and get in drama if they have group mates to stand up for them

With 18 queens I really thought they were going to have some international queens on this season which I would not have been mad about. So it’s surprising to see they’re all from the USA franchise.

So, if they adopt a new scoring/rating system, how would that work?? Each judge rates each queen based on the challenge (if six queens are competing, the best queen is scored 6, 2nd fave is scored 5, etc... least fave is scored 1). Then, the judges rate each queen on the runway? (Same rating process as used for challenge). The Queen with best overall score (challenge score + runway score) wins for the week? 😮🎉

I would LOVE if World Of Wonder asked the entire cast list of Ru girls from season 1 to the last aired season, if any of them would be interested to come back for an All Stars, and give them some money to put their packages together. Out of the entire cast list, I'm sure we'd have at least 30 or 40 queens who would want to return with the help of WOW. W.O.W should select a few of the girls that they feel would benefit from the exposure, but the rest should be put to a public vote, which would give the fans the very queens they want to see. That would be amazing.

I HATE that the merged cast allegedly only has three episodes, including the finale. To whittle down from 5 queens to 2 queens in each of two episodes is so wrong.
