BW Macho Legs has the highest cost efficent dps of any midranger, assuming its full surge lands. Second is Blossoming Neneko and third is Kitty of Liberty. All 3 are single target, but BW Macho Legs' surge gives it psudo area, putting it even further beyond the two closest to it. However, Blossoming Neneko has much greater hp efficency, though its long cooldown gives it one of the lowest heath and dps outputs when "spammed," making its general usage outside of its niche and cost efficent challenges terrible. The same cannot be said for the Kitty of Liberty. Its low cooldown puts it at nearly the highest dps output when spammed, second only to the famous cyborg. Liberty lacks area attacks, but as the most cost efficent midrange dps, and second highest output, it crushes any money-tight boss stage that it can outrange. Kasa Jizo, Baby Gao, and Slapsticks follow behind Kitty of Liberty in dps output, but make up for it in area attack, though even they have about half the dps cost efficency of Liberty. Brainwashed Macho Legs is unmatched in midrange dps cost efficency (assuming full surge hits) and low output. Kitty of Liberty has both almost the highest cost efficency and dps output of all midrangers, at the cost of single target. Blossoming Neneko (and True Love Neneko) have much more cost efficent health, but single target (True Love has miniwaves) and very long cooldown make them only useful in challenges or niche. The Kitty of Liberty is good.

Forgot to mention, with research up L, accomplished by biobone and minisaurus, the Kitty of Liberty surpasses even cyborg in dps output. It's single target still limits it somewhat.
