@@patricklangos1116 When you are about to start the boss fight, Bowser shoots meteors from his mouth which breaks the platforms behind you. That's seems pretty boring and easy so they changed it up with lava. His empire was swallowed by a sun, which would've been cool in SMM2 but maybe something didn't quite work.

Until you learn in NSMB Wii that 99% of the time, he can handle the lava no problem, since he is shows out of the castle, seemingly unscathed, as he is trying to escape with the rest of the Koopalings, but is too big for the ship (This is done again in NSMBU)

I liked most of this video, but if there's one problem I'd like to mention, it's that New Super Mario Bros. 1 and 2 don't use their matching final boss themes, unlike the majority of remakes here. I can understand with the latter, since the boss themes are reused from the Wii version, but with the original? That final boss theme's just too groovy to leave out.

Fun fact: you do not need axe to remake the fight for smb1 finale boss and you do not need bowser for smb3 finale boss. For smb1 use a bridge of p blocks and put a p switch at they end. For smb3 Use Morton and put a muncher on top of his head And just remake the arena.

How I would remake Mario final bosses if there was a Cuphead Maker: 1. Super Mario Bros Final Boss: I would use the One Hell Of A Time game theme (using the underground part as the theme), and make an area out of boxes from Perilous Piers. I would also put a row of platforms from The Devil’s last three phases as the bridge. On the bridge, I would also add a Sergeant Gumbo Gumball as Bowser. In order to make the Sergeant Gumbo Gumball that is meant to be Bowser fall into the acid (Acid from the last phase of Glumstone The Giant is added as the lava), you would have to shoot the last three phases version of the Devil in the background to make the platforms fall. 2. Super Mario Bros 2 Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the fight with the king’s leap boss the Queen. 3. Super Mario Bros 3 Final Boss: Again, I would use the One Hell Of A Time game theme (except that this time it would not take place underground). The walls will be made up of ground tiles, and most of the ground would be made up of boxes. For Bowser, I would add a barrel from Shootin N Lootin to smash the boxes, and in order to defeat him, the player would have to wait until the barrel smashes all of the boxes, creating an abyss, and then charges downwards into the abyss. 4. Super Mario Land Final Boss: This would be a aeroplane fight. The Tatanga ship would be made up of boxes and Zeppelins that would occasionally come in to shoot at the player. For Tatanga, there would be a Hot Dog enemy from Funfair Fever. And I would randomly choose any game theme since black and white mode would be put on. 5. Super Mario World Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the fight with the king’s leap boss the Bishop. 6. Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Final Boss: Again, I would use the One Hell Of A Time game theme and it would not take place underground. I would also put on black and white mode. I would make a square-shaped arena out of ground tiles and boxes. For Wario, I would add the cupcake miniboss from Sugarland Shimmy. For the second part of the fight, I would copy the arena and add the candy corn miniboss from the same Sugarland Shimmy boss level. And for the third and final part of the fight, I would copy the arena and add the hot dog miniboss from Funfair Fever. 7. Super Mario 64 Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the fight with the Howling Aces, except that the level would be switched to nighttime. 8. Super Mario Sunshine Final Boss: I would use the One Hell Of A Time game theme, and the level would be switched to nighttime. The area would be huge and there would be a bunch of things like boxes and ground tiles and cannons and stuff making up the ground. For Bowser and Bowser Jr. together, there would be the Anteater from Moonshine Mob for Bowser and the snail on his head for Bowser Jr. Below, there would be acid. I would remove the player’s ability to shoot just like the player’s ability to shoot is removed in King’s Leap boss battles, and in order to damage the anteater or the snail the player would have to parry the cannons. 9. NSMB Final Boss: It would be the same as the original SMB Final Boss Remake, except that it would not take place underground, Bowser would be the Hot Dog enemy from Funfair Fever, for Bowser Jr there would be the snail from the Moonshine Mob fight, and you would just shoot and kill the bosses instead of shooting the Devil in the background to make the platforms fall. 10. Super Mario Galaxy Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the Honeycomb Herald boss fight, except that it would be switched to nighttime, and after defeating the police bee and Rumor Honeybottoms the scrolling would stop, and you would face off against the Hot Dog enemy from Funfair Fever with a lot of hazards. After defeating the Hot Dog, you would then have to restart the cycle of defeating the police bee and Rumor Honeybottoms. 11. New Super Mario Bros. Wii Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the SMB remake, except that it would not take place underground, and after defeating Sargeant Gumbo Gumball, the Cyclops enemy from Rugged Ridge would show up and you would have to go through the same cycle that you have to go through at the end of the Rugged Ridge level in Cuphead. 12. Super Mario Galaxy 2 Final Boss: I would use the Funhouse Frazzle game theme. When the player enters the level, they would have to parry the pink card in the air, and it would bring them up to a circle-shaped ball (the ball would be a knocked out Mangosteen coming from the player continuously shooting upwards that the player would be able to walk on) where they would have to fight and defeat the king’s leap boss The Knight, whom is meant to be Bowser. 13. Super Mario 3d Land Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the fight with Chef Saltbaker, since the fight with Bowser in Mario 3d Land is kind of similar to it. 14. NSMB2 Final Boss: The player has to fight the final phase of Chef Saltbaker, with the first phase Chef Saltbaker in the background. 15. NSMBU Final Boss: It would be exactly the same as the final boss remake for SMB, except that it would not take place underground. For the second phase of the fight, I don’t know if Cuphead Maker would allow you to bring background enemies out of the background and into the arena, but if it would, then I would use the Anteater as Bowser. Otherwise, I would just use Glumstone The Giant with the snail on his head. 16. Super Mario 3d World Final Boss: The remake would be exactly the same as the Mario Galaxy remake, except that there would be no Hot Dog enemy and you would have to repeat the cycle of defeating the boss again as soon as you defeat Rumor Honeybottoms. 17. Super Mario Run: I would use the One Hell Of A Time game theme, and Phear Lap would be moving to the right. There would be a long hallway of platforms. 18. Super Mario Odyssey: This is the only boss that I probably wouldn’t be able to explain how I would remake it since there would be too much stuff and it would be really complicated to explain.
