Super Hero Taisen isn't canon. It seemed to have established that the Kamen Rider & Super Sentai universes are the same one where they were previously established during the Shinkenger/Decade crossover that they were in different universes. The Metal Heroes, I'm not sure, but I'm certain the movies exist in a separate continuity from the shows not only from that, but from establishing other things as well from what I've read.

Every "season" of Super Sentai was a different story. There's really only been two seasons of Power Rangers (Time Force/Timeranger and Mystic Force/Magiranger) where directly adapting the storyline of the Super Sentai series worked out well.

Belt buckles are kamen rider only, and the only reason why zyuranger had them was bf kamen rider wasn't airing a season when zyuranger was airing. Cell phones weren't a thing in 1979. They essentially just say "Fever!" and spin around, just like how in goranger they say "Go!" and jump.

Who do you think gets to decide how much footage and plot is used when these get remade as Power Rangers? Some of the later seasons seem very similar to the Japanese originals.

Its was Saban at the start from Mighty Morphin to Wild Force, then after that Fox got the rights to make it, but they got bought out by Disney, so from Ninja Storm to RPM, before Saban bought them back, thats how we got Samurai and...argh, Megaforce, it was those they had major control over. Now they have slight control, but not as much as before and are leaving the team mostly to themselves, cause most of the money Power Rangers makes goes to making the show. The people who originally made it is Toei, they sell the footage to Saban who then turns it into Power Rangers and because Toei isn't making much from Power Rangers, they put the prices up, so less to making original footage. When Disney had Power Rangers, they used their own money to make Power Rangers, so that's why there is less in the seasons they made

Nihon gets called "weeaboo Subs" because they wont translate every little thing. The reason for it, as they explain, and it makes sense, is that not everything said has a translation. Japanese slang doesn't actually translate into anything english wise, the same can be said for english slang into other languages. Because of this, they'll leave it, and then provide a quick tidbit on what it means and give the best comparison to it. This is honestly much better then subbers like overtime, who will just come up with whatever the hell they want. Hell overtime didn't even translate Kyoryuger correctly, listing them as saying "hero" instead of "brave", where braze was the actual word they were saying, because they liked the sound of hero better. It's fine for people to prefer different subbers, but honestly, i'd rather have proper translations, then just lazy or made ones(some subbers are lazy as shit. not calling overtime lazy btw).
