I hate Tao Cheng though its because i remember in Story mode after the mission Trevor Phillips industries. Trevor gets a new contact in his cellphone its Tao Cheng jr. But the only thing is you can’t call him either u try to call him later or after missions it always says BUSY.

Canonically, the one who dies is Weing Cheng, Tao and Georgina's father in a shootout, Tao tells you in the mission "Strong Arm Tactics" from GTA O, The Diamond Casino & Resort DLC which takes place in 2019
