Tekken tag tournament 2 has the biggest and best Tekken roster of all time with 44 playable characters at launch ( on disc ) and a further 15 more characters added as DLC, which in total make the Tekken tag tournament 2 roster to be 59 playable characters which is the biggest and best roster of characters in any Tekken game

Hearing TTT's PS2 character selection theme breaks my heart. God I miss old Tekken so much. So much personality. So much fun. So many different secrets and facial animations. You can feel the love with those games. With Tekken 7? Not so much other than "Purchase a DLC character for $5 f*cking dollars"

I would write that Tekken Revolution had the worst character screen, but on the other hand, at least they tried something new there. I'd say it's funny that only Tekken 4 had a vertical character screen, which seems to be standard in most fighting games, but it's a consequence of consistently putting too many (redundant) characters into the game. In the case of Tekken 8, I like the fun of colors and simplicity, but it's not an improvement over previous games for sure. There's a lot of empty space, so I hope they will make it vertical too, but... how many characters they will add? 60?

Here's what I want, when it comes to tournament writing games, give us a reason why they're not there on the roster of characters and as for DLC characters, their stories, should foreshadow, the other characters, until the very last character, foreshadowing nothing, because very last character.
