When are people going to learn that animals belong in the wild, if they are wild, and treated with lots of care when they are typical pets like dogs and cats. I live in south africa where loadshedding is a daily thing. Electricity goes off 4 hours 3 times a day sometimes 6 hours Sometimes they forget to put it on ,and you sit in dark in a rolling blackout.

Our worst 'lost electricity' story was a hurricane several years back. Also ended up with a hole in the roof, so it was raining indoors & cold. That was several days... Then more recently we had thunderstorms for days during the summer & lost AC/fans, so we could barely breathe in the apartment. Both sucked.

When I was a child, the electricity went out for 8 days. That one summer the electricity would go out every weekend. It would go out Friday and come back on late Sunday of Monday. My child hood home was one of the projects know as the gardens. It's done been torn down and replaced by another projects.

Snow storms in Buffalo Ny are pretty common, and so is losing power for short periods of time due to the storms, but every few years we get hit with a massive one that takes down the whole area.... but in 2006, my home lost power for around 8 days.... After about 4-5 days, we had enough, and ended up having to rent a hotel room in another part of the city that had their power restored before us... it was a nightmare!!!

We were out of electricity for 3 days in the middle of winter. Trees fell from a bad storm and broke the lines in many different spots. I thought I was going to freeze to death. Bought a generator for next time..

As far as India losing power for 2 whole days, I'm in Ann arbor Michigan and we lost power for a whole week recently from ice and wind. Without from Feb 22 to 28, 2023... 2 days wouldn't have been that bad considering...

I was born in Ghana west Africa. I moved to the States in 1996 when I was 8. Anyways till this very day light is cut from the people more than 3 days out the week. So yeah I've been with out electricity for for than 2 days. After awhile you get used to it
