This was what I always wished Battlebots was like when I watched it as a kid back in the original few seasons - even the most powerful bots back then seem amateurish compared to the quality nowadays, and that's no disrespect to the people who built them, it just shows how far the competition has come over the last 20 years. (also I never imagined there'd be a champion from my country - End Game!)

Here where we live we had 20 years ago a show called Robot Wars. Same principal and it was from the UK. These robots now are monsters compared to those. In Robot Wars there were also these 'house robots' that sat in the corner. If the opponent got pushed in that corner, the house robot could lash/attack out to them.
