@@TheDominiqueBallou You mentioned different budgets, but that alone doesn’t address the issue in its entirety. Both in the past and now, there have been projects with varying budgets. As someone who works in graphic design and game development, I can confidently say that your points don't align with the current industry standards. CGI has become more affordable than ever. With AI tools, we're able to achieve impressive results in much less time. The subpar CGI often seen in Hollywood these days is more a reflection of the industry's overall struggles, ranging from COVID impacts and writers' strikes to DEI initiatives, than of CGI costs. Studios were earning almost nothing yet and continued to spend without adjustment. Well the well is running dry, which means they simply can't or won't shell out the finances for high-quality CGI like before.
