October was my worst reading month too! I hit a major book slump and didn't read a lot of the spooky reads I had on my tbr list *sigh* but I did finish the TOG series and I'll be starting CC next! I hope November will be a better reading month for me lol

@@ravenhairedreader I recommend reading slaying the shadow prince in between! I think it’s the perfect time to read it because you’ll get some more insight into what’s happening in the world, that the characters in vows and ruin don’t know about…also like who doesn’t want to read about a shadow daddy???

I loved blood & steel! I’m currently reading the Acotar series, I finished a court of wings and ruins. I’m sprinting through the series so I can start TOG soon 😅

I am re-reading OUABH and TBONA, too, and I am loving my experience. I also like Evangeline so much more this time around! I was kind of scared to do a re-read because I thought she was going to be even more irritating, lol, but this re-read has definitely been even better than my first time around. I am like, half an hour away from finish Ballad and starting #3 tomorrow!

I have Blood and Steel and Mile High on my TBR. Did you finish The Shepard King duology??? I read in Oct and LOVED it!! Fav books of the month. You were so right about the world, the magic that truly gothic feel...I could visualize this so well. TBH I felt like if it's made into a movie Tim Burton would be the one. Agree exactly on Crowns of Oaths and Curses...we need book 2 now. Or at least a release date. 😂

i recommend starting with her ACOTAR series ☺️ i feel like it’s the best series to start with and really gives you an idea on her writing/characterization/etc. hope you love it!
