I was a huge skeptic of ANYTHING paranormal, especially UFOs and aliens. Until i saw a UFO back in july of 2013. I'll never forget it. And ever since that night i have seen multiple things in the sky that i can not explain, and i have been obsessed with all things paranormal since. You have to understand that in the summertime, the sun doesn’t set, Alaska gets almost 23 hours of sunlight in the summer. So yes, you can sightsee at 10:30 pm. It’s gets “dusk” around 3 am. I’m born and raised in Alaska btw too

My professional hypothesis of the photo taken by the young brunet woman from her Automobile. I do not mean to disappoint her, but the five hundred to 1 thousand foot, vertical, white to light gray tubular structure/shape was nothing more than a Waterspout. This meteorological phenomenon over water can often take on this straight vertical shape due to strong downdrafts in a mature stage of towering cumulous cloud in its Mature Stage of development, where it may begin as a spinning horizontal structure tend to pivit to a vertical shape.
