Actually it was Teofimo Lopez. He won the IBF belt from Commey. Then beat Lomachenko who held all 3 belts but vacated a belt. That belt was unfortunately emailed to Haney and given to him for free. Now what’s more reasonable to me? Calling the man who beat the man who had all belts undisputed? Or being e-mailed a belt that you never earned and then being called undisputed? Put some respect on Teofimo’s name.

@@ceasarsevilla632 oh Teofimo gets all the respect in the world but the WBC franchise title iS NOT a 1st place World Championship title like Sullimam said its just a designation and it is NOT RECOGNIZED by the WBO, WBA, and IBF. The facts are that Teofimo FAILED to fight Haney for the real WBC 1st Place World Championship and instead was comfortable with his CLONE VERSION of that Title which has absolutely NO MEANING. If Teofimo would of fought Haney he would of WON but ducked him and instead decided to fight Kambosos whom he saw as an easy win but FAILED to be VICTORIOUS. I saw that fight as a DRAW.

He received an E-Mail by the WBC President congratulating him for becoming the WBC 1st place World Champion because Lomachenko did not want to fight defend his title and opted out for the Clone Version. Teofimo won that Clone Version of the WBC called the Franchise Title. In conclusion the Franchise title has no meaning its absolutely irrelevant to the sport of boxing and in regards to LEGACY but has IMPORTANCE to the WBC RANKINGS only...
